Feist game

Intro
I just felt like shedding some light on this promising platform game

Feist is an unreleased action-platform-game and as a result of that I haven’t tried it yet.
This is therefore a description based only on the videos and pictures found on their site, along with some expectations and hopes.

Content
To judge from the videos and pictures of Feist, it’s an game with a strong graphical appeal. Feist uses a silhouette effect to give it a mystical atmosphere, but in sunlight the depth of 3d comes to show. On top of that it was nominated to win an award for Excellence in Visual Arts at igf. A reward that is broadly recognized among independent developers.

The controls and tasks seem simple at the moment, the only skills the main character has is the ability to run around, use a rope and shoot or throw things at the foes that approach.

Conclusion
The thing that caught my attention was obviously the graphics and as the game is not complete yet, I can’t tell if it’s a real catch. One thing is sure, I will try it when it finally arrives to both Mac and PC.
